Artwork DescriptionThe bases of steel and concrete columns have been covered in mosaic tiles depicting a variety of colourful flowers to create a "garden". Individual hand-crafted, textured tiles have been applied around the five column bases. Literary quotes are woven into the floral designs.
Artwork StatementOur proposal is to “plant a garden” on the columns. Our tile flower designs would break up the heavy paving in the area with swatches of colour and texture.
